In Cable Capers 2 you play Arnold the Cable fitter and it is your job to collect all the pieces of cable and other items along the way. On your quest to collect all the items you meet all kinds of nasty monsters, like crocodiles, and nasty booby traps like spikes, lasers, and other lethal contraptions.
Cable Capers 2 looks and feels like a classic platform arcade game, like the Super Mario games from Nintendo in the eighties. It is fun to play, addictive and a lot of fun, with a high re-play factor.
Controlling Arnold is done using the arrow keys to move and the “Z” and “X” buttons to throw cables at your enemies and jump. Even with the ability to throw cables at your enemies, the game is still quite a challenge because even if you manage to knock out the monsters, there still are all the booby traps waiting to take you out, and if you return to an area you cleared before, the monsters will have returned as well and you can knock them down with cables all over again.
Just like the Super Mario Games, Cable Capers 2 is harmless fun for the whole family, where it will be just as entertaining for older players as it will be for the youngest gamers among us.
